Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center Beaches is looking to add a Registered NurseLactation Consultant. This is a PRN Days shift opportunity with a commitment one 12 hour Shift will be scheduled from 0645-1915, flexibility!

The Lactation Consultant is skilled in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to assist the breastfeeding mother to attain her personal goals. The LC functions as a member of the multi-discplinary health care team as a consultant, educator, and mentor to nurses, healthcare professionals and patients.

Must Be IBCLC Certified

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 1-2 years Inpatient Breastfeeding Teaching Experience

License and Certification

• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
