Job Summary
Baptist MD Anderson is looking to add a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Outpatient Oncology Clinic at Baptist MD Anderson on the Baptist South campus. This is a 40-hr per week, Full-Time Days opportunity with shifts Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center combines the clinical breakthroughs of the number one cancer center in America and the full resources of North Florida’s largest and most preferred health system. The Outpatient Oncology RN will not perform any procedures and will primarily perform triage duties.
Additional Outpatient Oncology Clinic RN responsibilities may include:
- Chaperoning patients
- Checking and entering vitals into the EMR
- Setting up exam rooms
- Positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence-based direct patient care.
- Work closely with a Physician and other team members to provide patient care and education.
- Have strong phone assessment skills and be able to work autonomously in a clinic environment.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team.
- Be able to initiate process suggestions and prioritize well.
- Have many opportunities to learn and grow through collaboration and CE opportunities.

Education Required
Associate's Degree - Nursing
Education Preferred
Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
Experience
- 1-2 years Nursing Experience Required
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
