Registered Nurse, NICU, Part Time Nights, Baptist South

Baptist South is hiring a Registered Nurse to our NICU Team. This is a part-time night shift position at Wolfson Children's Hospital. We provide critical care for babies with various conditions; this includes comprehensive care for infants of all sizes with critical illnesses, respiratory support, sustained life support, and advanced imaging. As a Registered Nurse for the NICU, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

NICU Nurse Job Responsibilities:

• Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care

• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care

• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to critical patients that require a higher acuity of care

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred

• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience

• Hospital Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (Nursing) Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
