Job Summary
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) is actively seeking a Full-Time Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. Individuals with a defined focus on oncology nursing who are patient-focused are sought to join our team.
The primary purpose of the Oncology Nurse position is to positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence-based direct patient care across the continuum of care. Working closely with the physician to ensure the highest quality of patient care and the appropriate use of resources is achieved in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience (inpatient or clinic) with a passion for oncology care.
- A background in surgical nursing and neurosciences is a plus.
- Work closely with the physician to ensure the highest quality of patient care and the appropriate use of resources is achieved in collaboration of the interdisciplinary team.
- Assist with clinic procedures (i.e., scopes and brachytherapy cases).
- Excellent communication and writing skills are a must for this position.
