Registered Nurse, Stress Lab, Part-Time Days, Baptist South

Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Stress Lab unit at our Baptist Medical Center South campus, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Part-Time, day shift opportunity. This Stress Lab RN will work 3 days a week.

As a Registered Nurse in our Stress Lab, you will be responsible for:

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, supervision of care provided by supportive personnel, and coordination of the care supplied by ancillary services.
• Safely administers medications, including narcotics, and recognizes adverse effects.
• Providing care to patients who may be currently undergoing stress at that time.
• Anticipates the needs of the patient and intervenes appropriately.
• Monitors and reads EKGs and documents all pertinent information for the session.
• Ability to read and interpret EKGs.

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 2 years Critical Care Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
