Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to hire a Registered Nurse for inpatient Wound Care at Baptist South. This Wound Care RN position is a full-time, days position out of our Baptist South location.

As a Wound Care RN, your responsibilities include:

  • Providing evaluation of patients with ostomy/draining wounds
  • Initiating plan of treatment and ongoing evaluation
  • Consulting primary RN and providing reports to physician
  • Identifying educational needs of nursing personnel and conducts in-services on ostomy, skin, wound, and fistula care
  • Providing multidisciplinary care with rehab professionals, RNs, doctors, social services, and support
  • Instructing patient/families in use of wound care products and participation in the plan of care

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Master's Degree

Experience

  • 3-5 Years Nursing Experience
  • Wound Care Experience
  • Enterostomal Therapy Experience

License and Certification

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
