Revenue Cycle Business Analyst, Patient Business Services, Baptist Downtown

Job Summary

Baptist Health is currently seeking to add a Revenue Cycle Business Analyst to our Patient Business Services team, located at our Southbank Plaza campus in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday. The hours will be flexible but will adjust according to business needs as applicable.

This unique remote Revenue Cycle Business Analyst role will act as a project manager and will primarily function to provide analysis, support, and consultation to the leadership of various components within the hospital's revenue cycle department. The analyst will collaborate with revenue cycle leadership to develop corrective action plans, recommend modifications to established practices and procedures, and support optimal productivity and efficiency within the revenue cycle areas of the hospital system. Additional responsibilities include the creation, facilitation, implementation, and evaluation of project plans for both ongoing operations and improvements in quality and productivity.

As a Revenue Cycle Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

• Creation, facilitation, implementation, and evaluation of project plans

• Collaborating with Revenue Cycle leadership on action plans and modifications to existing plans and/or procedures

• Providing system support to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency in the Revenue Cycle

• Determining root causes of revenue cycle issues, questionable variations, and operational glitches

• Less than 1 year Healthcare Finance Experience Preferred

License and Certification

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
