Sterile Processing Specialist, Wolfson Children's Hospital

Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a Sterile Processing Specialist to support our Surgical Services Team at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a Full-time Days position, 40 hours a week.

As a Sterile Processing Specialist, your responsibilities and qualifications will include:

• Overseeing accurate tracking and inventory of surgical instruments using the instrument tracking system
• Ensuring optimization and proper use of tracking technology for efficient asset management
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date count sheets for all surgical instrument trays
• Collaborating with Surgical Services and Sterile Processing leadership to improve workflow and system use
• Supporting data integrity and system accuracy to ensure safe and timely surgical procedures

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Required Or
• Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Required Or
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Preferred
