I had an appointment at 10:45 and was told to arrive at 10:30 which I did. At 11:15, I was still waiting and was told I would be next. 15 minutes later I finally went into the room, but didn't see the Nurse Practitioner until around 11:50. Incredibly long time to wait.

After Dr. Townsend left, another PCP at a minimum should have been added with the growing population in St. John's and South Duval areas. Multiple prescription renewals should be better coordinated to minimize the need for multiple call ins and pickups.

I tested positive for Covid and knew that for the Paxlovid to work, it needed to be started early so I contacted my dr of many many years. I was told by Joy that she would email the dr. At 1:45 when I hadn???t heard back, I called again and was told the dr hasn???t reviewed the note. The second person was much more helpful and scheduled a virtual visit with Ms Leah Rose who was extremely nice and called in the meds I needed. The next morning at 8:45 am I was awoken by a call from Joy who wanted to schedule a virtual visit based on my first call. 24 hours later and with no concern for the need for the rush. Let alone no one seemed to know I had already been seen? The providers are great. The admin of this office is horrible. How is there not a protocol for Covid positive patients when it???s so clearly been around for years now? Unacceptable handling of calls from long time patients.
