Steven Ross, MD

Steven Ross, MD, is a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist who specializes in the management of heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Ross was inspired to pursue a career in cardiology by his father, who dealt with valvular heart disease and arrhythmias. Through his studies in the broader field of cardiology, he was drawn to electrophysiology because of a fascination with ECGs and the cardiac electrical system. Dr. Ross strives to develop strong relationships with his patients and aims to formulate effective individualized care plans.

About Me

I was born and raised in Florida and have spent the majority of my medical career at the University of Florida, where I was recruited to remain on faculty after completing medical training. I am excited to continue my career in Jacksonville with Baptist Health. My wife and I have three children (all boys). In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, sports, and being outdoors where I enjoy hiking and fishing.

I strive to develop a strong relationship with my patients and aim to treat people as if they were my own family members. I believe effective management of heart rhythm disorders requires an individualized and patient-centered approach.
