Dr McCarthy is awesome and incredible! Love him, 10+ stars! Getting in to see him is crazy though and office staff is a 5 out of 10. called this week to schedule an appt due to illness, I was originally told it would be 2.5 weeks before he had an opening!!! I planned to go to an Urgent Care but then the office called me back and stated they had a cancellation in an hour, told them I???d be there. They then called back 10 min later and said since i was sick, he would do a video appt. Fine. I dialed in at my time, they called me to say he was running late. They called me when he was ready, an hour later. Dr McCarthy was great as always and sent prescriptions that i needed.

My appointment was at 10a, I was asked to come in at 930a which I did exactly. I wasn???t called by the MA to be seen until 1050a, so I sat waiting for over an hour. If that???s how delayed they are in the morning I can???t imagine any afternoon appointments.

Dr McCarthy!!! He's the best, doesn't rush you, takes a common sense approach! I was a Dr Rust patient and wasn't sure when he left what I would think about McCarthy but he is truly the best and I've sent many others to the practice. One office staff ( who answers phones) was very difficult to work with. Sounded pleasant but was just awful to work with. Maybe she's gone now??? I haven't had to deal with her. All other office staff are amazing!! Super helpful!!!!! Above and beyond!!

Great staff and a physician who really cares about his patients. Dr. McCarthy will follow up with you regarding your health issues. He returns texts, emails and phone calls. Unusual in today???s medical society. Most primary care physicians are only allowed a 30 minute window for each appointment, anything over extends their day. We can thank our wonderful health insurance industry which dictates every facet of our health care these days, not doctors or hospitals.

I like everything about the office- front office staff, especially Tie, have ben amazing, beyond expectations, in person, and over the phone. They are responsive, professional, caring individuals. Dr. John McCarthy and his back office staff are thorough, personable and knowledgeable medical professionals. I felt at ease and cared for during every encounter surrounding my visit.

Location was nice, Dr. McCarthy was AWESOME! His assistant didn't look very happy though... Other than that I am so very very happy that I was able to get with the Dr and speak with him. He is very thorough and outstanding bedside manner. He made me feel very comfortable.

The doctor was great and thorough, but the front desk checkin needs some improvement. As a new patient appointment I thought it was weird that when I checked in she asked for nothing from me just told me to have a seat. Then after my appointment was done and I was talking to the nurses station she was like thanks, and I asked don't you guys want my Insurance Card or ID or anything. Her comment was didn't the front desk do that, and I said no and then the nurse had to take the copies as the front desk person had already gone home for the day.

Another patient came in while I was waiting who was an hour later for her appointment and even the the other patient was angry and being someone abusive to your staff member, the staff member stayed calm, explained the offices policy, and tried to help her reschedule her appointment. The office staff is very friendly and professional the office was very clean. I was very impressed and grateful that the doctor shows that he is genuinely concerned about your health and take the time to discuss any concerns you have and take the time to explain about your health also I liked the fact he spent more than 10 or 15 minutes with me as I have experienced in the past with other specialist providers who just look at you and walk out in 5 minutes. Dr. John McCarthy is very thorough and caring and never makes you feel like you???re taking too much of his time. Dr. Lindsay filled in while he was in vacation and failed to diagnose an infected toe that had already destroyed the top joint. The facility is clean and welcoming as are the staff. Have recommended to Cary and Nancy Milk who are now Dr. McCarthy patients too.

For the first time i feel that my concerns where important to someone, he was willing to listen and looking for solutions. I highly recommend him. The assistant was fabulous as well. The office was clean. Front desk helped me to accommodate the appointment time since i have a newborn.

I came in as a new patient to be seen by Dr. McCarthy. Office staff was very friendly and got me back to see the doctor quickly. Dr. McCarthy is an awesome doctor! I explained to him what was going on with my health and he seemed genuinely interested in what was going on. It's nice to have a doctor who cares.

So far I am fairly satisfied- after my initial visit. I am grateful that you are accepting new patients with Medicare. I am anticipating good experiences, but was a little disappointed that the doctor didn???t even look once at any of the paperwork I had spent so much time completing.
