Very little waiting time. Dr Tamayo is very precise when going over my semi annual blood tests and spends any amount o f time in answering my questions. I have been seeing him twice a year since Dr Messinese transferred and would not even consider changing doctors.

My Care Team Drs are all wonderful and work together. very well. I have such respect for what they do and how they do it. I am not necessarily loyal to Baptist rather loyal to my Drs and their teams. I feel I am receiving the best care possible. Facilities are nice and clean and well managed too. My primary, Dr Tamayo, is well-versed in so many areas.He really listens and understands me. Everyone - the office staff and the doctor and medical assistants are always very pleasant and helpful. I also love the use of technology to allow other ways to communicate with the office. Dr. Tamayo agree to a video follow up that was part of my er discharge paperwork following accident that sustained a fractured L1 vertebra, fractured 11th rib and bruised kidney while visiting the West Coast. At the time of the call he had obtained the images and report from the er and gave me an after care plan including when it would be safe for me to travel and begin to resume normal activities. I???ve been his patient for a long time and he is always upbeat, professional and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with him and his staff. He referred me to the Baptist Cardiology Department last year and I found that department to be a disappointment and decided to stick with my cardiologist at Saint Vincent???s. Dr. Tamayo is top flight though and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Jose Tamayo is very helpful in discussing future healthcare and suggestions for current practices. We always have very good talks about planning healthcare and addressing my lab results. I have been a patient of Dr. Tamayo's for many years. He exemplifies what it means to be a great doctor and has provided stellar care to myself and both of my parents. The office staff are caring, kind and professional. Michelle has always gone above and beyond to help me over the years with scheduling and any other questions I have had. I will be moving out of state soon and will miss this care team. In my search for a new doctor, there is no doubt in my mind that I will not find one who can come close to Dr. Tamayo, I am so grateful to have been his patient and will truly miss him.

Extremely difficult to speak to a person, all the phone options are frustrating , whatever happened to the human touch especially in a field when people need it most. sometimes do not get a call back. I do not like virtual visits nor do I like to be shoved over to a PA when I really want to see a doctor. Since doctor became part of Baptist I feel more rushed during visits .

Everything! Office is neat and clean. Staff at front desk are warm and caring. Love love love Dr. Tamayo!!!! He is the humblest, most thorough doctor I have ever been to. He explains in easy to understand layman's terms, yet in medical detail your blood work. He has turned me from a "couch potato" to a "marathon running vegetarian".........that's what my blood work reveals about my healthy eating and exercise routine, and a small amount of medication. He is sincere, warm and caring. Absolutely THE best doctor ever!!!!!!

Dr. Tamayo is by far, the best primary care physician that my wife and I have been exposed to. That says a lot considering that we both are retired health care workers. He is knowledgeable, professional and makes you feel like family member. His staff is professional and efficient. Unlike many physician offices, this office does not waste your time. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff along with having a doctor who is up to date on all information regarding health care for my family and myself. Dr Tamayo takes the time to go over everything with you regarding your health and well being. He does not rush through things to get you out of the way. He is one who cares and it shows in the way he handles his patiences.

Dr Tamayo is awesome! I recommended him to my boyfriend and he started seeing him as well, and really likes him. I have a medical background, and my boyfriend has 2 children who are doctors so we know what we are talking about. The office staff is also great. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to this office.

I felt very welcomed & the waiting room was so nice & clean. The doctor was very professional & I already told my friends to set up appointments to see him. I am very happy with the time that was spent asking me how I feel. It was a great visit. I was able to get an X-ray at the hospital in under an hour & it was so easy getting referred to the Lab & cardiologist.

I appreciate the fact that the waiting room is not crowded and that the appointments are set for minimum wait time. Amazing! The reception staff was efficient and professional. Dr. Tamayo is very thorough, informative, and engaging. His patience and listening skills serve him well. He is well suited for his career. These are trying times and this office and the people who work here are a calming force.
