My insurance company has tried contacting Dr Perekh assistant to fill out important medical paperwork for medication and she doesn???t return calls or emails. Dealing with this dr office is extremely stressful. I???ve had to take paperwork to the office myself and explain step by step what is needed for the insurance company. This has happened several times.

We like Dr. Parekh however the office staff was very unprofessional on this visit. 1. The front desk charged us for 6.36, which we found out at the end was a mistake. It was discovered when the check out MA charged for the $25 copay. They eventually refunded the original charge. 2. The Rooming MA was very rude to my 16 year old son when he didn't know how tall he was and had exasperated sighs when she had to measure his height. She was also very rude when he didn't know which medications he was taking and told him "they are all white pills, how am I supposed to know which one of them you are talking about." 3. During check out the checkout MA was frustrated at my son because he didn't know when the Dr wanted to see him again. She then argued with him when he pointed out that the date she suggested in November was on a Saturday. She doubled down and insisted it was a Wednesday and said, "I'm looking at it right here!" Then eventually she noticed she was looking at October rather than November she moved on and didn't apologize or acknowledge for her mistake.

I love Dr.P and how much he cares. The office staff has changed but Ty is still here and Tay at the front is very sweet. So is Angela. They make visits enjoyable,with very little waiting and in 7 years I've never had a poor experience. I'm extremely thankful for this office.

The staff in the office are great, and Dr. Parekh goes above and beyond with finding the root cause of health issues. He actively listens and genuinely tries to understand how the patient feels. He provides logical responses and encourages healthy behaviors that may substitute the use of medications as well as prevent and mitigate future health issues. unable to reach doctor by phone. Phone rings and goes to a menu and then goes to the doctors assistant who says leave a message and I???ll call you back in 24 hours. My message was on Friday 24 hours would???ve been Saturday and not working I needed a refill on my prescription so I had to drive all the way out to the office from BayMeadows 20 miles to talk to the receptionist who said they were very busy.

Some of the staff I feel is cold even after being a fairly regular customer for almost 10 years. No compassion at all with the patients to even show any concerns treating you. Once he acknowledged me sitting near the window I gave him my name and what I was there for and he asked me to repeat my information multiple times. He said that he would bring the order out to me. He made me sit there for an additional 20 mins before sarcastically apologizing for ???overlooking??? me. He then made me wait an additional 10ins to hand me an order that was in the system. He apologized and I ignored him. This was my 3 encounter with him and each was very unpleasant. He is rude and unprofessional. I have a long history with my physician and would like to remain a patient. I am unsure if that???s possible if this young man remains there. Also I received multiple bills bc the staff was using the incorrect insurance. The policy the they were using ended 10/1/2019. My current policy has been in effect since 10/1/2019. The entire office could use some customer service skills.

Front office staff has been very unaccommodating recently. From refusing to send over a proper diagnostic order after I was already at the specialty appointment to being unable to work me in when I was having a painful tendinitis flare-up, I would not refer a friend to deal with these types of hassles. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Parekh and his staff. Each and every team member is courteous and very respectful. Dr. Parekh has excellent bedside manners, takes time to explain the medical condition where you can fully understand it, (he drew me a picture once) and always takes time to answer all of your questions. Dr. Parekh cares about the core problem and finds ways to fix the root of the issue and not just put a Band-Aid on the problem. I like Dr Parekh and the staff seem to be friendly and helpful. The only problem is when I get blood work with an annual physical I get a bill from the that I owe $23.00 and some cents. I call my primary secondary Heath insurance and they say the amount agreed upon through a contract with them to accept the amount they pay for that procedure and I do not owe anything extra. I wrote them a letter but have not heard a reply. This has been going on since my last annual physical. Not looking forward to blood work and bill in 2021.

First, had an EKG and blood drawn. Went back one week later for blood test results and they forgot and try to draw blood again. Second, they said they faxed my EKG to my cardiologist. When i told them the cardiologist never got it and I was coming to get a copy, had an appointment tomorrow morning, they call me and said they lost it and I had to get another EKG. There is something wrong with the front office or the Doctor. I don’t know which.

Communication and customer service. We continue to have problems with prescriptions. Missing prior auths, filled out for the wrong form (capsule vs tablet). The pharmacy sends requests to get it fixed but they are ignored until I call in to the practice and have to leave a message because I can't talk to anyone. Then I don't get a callback to let me know the status. The portal is a joke and never has my lab results.

I can go to my dentist and get a crown and bridge. I can get my teeth cleaned but I can't go to my doctor and been seen faced to face. None of this makes sense. I had/still have a rash all over torso. Seems a little better today. I was on hold on my phone 45 minutes pass my appointment time. Video/Zoom lasted long enough for doctor to see rash and then disconnected us. Process is very upsetting. I guess until this is over, we truly are left to take care of ourselves. Before COVID I was happy with Baptist Primary.

Dr. P is amazing. He takes his time to listen to you and I never feel rushed. I appreciate his candor and honesty. The front office staff are friendly, attentive and constantly cleaning the lobby. I've been a patient of Dr. Parekh for 8 years, he has helped me through some tough issues when I first came to Florida. He has recommended good specialist which I still am their patients. This may not be his policy, it may be Baptist but they in my opinion are unreasonable, 1) If I call after 2:00 PM allow 24 hours for a return call, WHY 2) If I call for a prescription allow up to 3 days for the refill to be processed, WHY 3) I have regular appointments & if I need a prescription I have to have another appointment for that. That's enough for now.
