I felt that the male MA, LPA or CNA for Dr. Till, not sure what title he bears, was very rude, insensitive and scolding/condescending to me while I was in the medical room during interview and vitals. Despite the fact that I???m bipolar and wholeheartedly expressed my current crisis situation so that he could understand why I was feeling so depressed/low, he still felt the need to lecture me and advised me to change my personality, change my behavior and act like a Floridian. He actually brought me to tears. I don???t believe I was ever spoken to so badly by anyone in my entire life.

My entire family are patients of Dr. Celkis, and they say she's excellent. Dr Till, though..... I'm greatly regretting choosing him as my PCP. Not only did he awkwardly and creepily caress/rub my shoulder, making me uncomfortable (I'm a guy and I don't appreciate another guy I've never met putting his hands on me that way), but I also question his knowledge base.... He told me that smoking for 10+ years wouldn't damage my lungs (not true). He also told me he doesn't really care about weight, just strength (asinine, weight is important to overall health). I'd asked about a medical issue I've been having and he just threw up his hands and said he didn't know why it was happening... Tried blaming it on things that made zero sense (blamed random vomiting on food sensitivities and stress even though I told him it always happens on an empty stomach, and I've never had that response to stress in my 45 years... it doesn't add up. I mentioned that I have IBS, which absolutely can cause vomiting, but he told me it can't). My appointment was a meet and greet/physical but didn't even mention anything about a colonoscopy. I didn't realize it until after, but I'm 45 years old. It's unfortunately time for me to have one. I've had many doctors over the years, but Dr Till is the most out of touch, incompetent of the bunch and I don't trust him. He doesn't seem to listen well, as he blamed iron staining on my legs on being overweight, even though I told him it appeared when I was still thin. He just ignores what you tell him if it doesn't comport with his theories. At least he ordered blood work, as is standard for physicals, but I'm greatly concerned he either won't interpret the results correctly, or leave things out that he doesn't deem to be important when they actually are. Healthcare management is supposed to be a cooperative effort between a doctor and patient, but that's hard when the Dr is a quack and doesn't take your concerns and thoughts into consideration. Beyond Dr Till, I found most of the staff I encountered to be kind of unpleasant (front desk woman that checked me in was great!), with scowls on their faces. The physicians assistant had zero bedside manner and seemed bothered to even do his job, like he was annoyed he had to do so. He doesn't seem to have any sort of people skills. I truly wish I was making all this up, but I've never had such a bad experience at a doctor's office in my 45 years. Truthfully, I'll probably still go to the same location because it's right outside my neighborhood, but hopefully with Dr Celkis instead.

Dr. Michael Till was my doctor before he came to Baptist South, and he is excellent, as is his nurse, Woodrow. I went to Baptist South so that I continue my doctor/patient relationship with Dr. Till, and I am glad that I did. As always, he was a pleasure to deal with, knowledgeable and thorough.

The nurse that checked me in was very kind and thorough. He explained everything he was going to do. Dr. Till was very patient with our questions and thoroughly went thru all the information provided in the checking questionnaire. We look forward to him taking care of us in the future.

This was my first visit to see Dr. Till as a new patient. The staff welcomed me when I arrived, and Woodrow met with me first to do weight, vitals, and questions. He was courteous and efficient, and I felt at ease right away. Dr. Till reviewed my medical conditions and medications and we also talked about a painful hip that flairs up due to scoliosis every few years. I felt that Dr. Till was very thorough, professional, and interested in my well-being. I am really glad to have found a doctor and practice that fits my needs so well. Everyone I dealt with during this first visit was great, and I am scheduled for a "well-patient" visit in July. Dr. Till also sent in a referral to Brooks Rehab for physical therapy for my hip pain which I appreciated very much. I was nervous when I arrived as I am in doctors' offices in general, but I felt really good and happy with the visit when I left. Thank you!

The nurse (Woodrow?) that saw me before the doctor was very compassionate when he heard what I was going thru. Dr. Till was very helpful in offering resources to help me deal with the various issues I was facing. I felt I was listened to and offered good recommendations to help thru this difficult time. I look forward to returning to this office when needed next.
