    The most important is I like my doctor and when I come in, he knows who I am without looking at the chart. While the personal relationshiop is important, the fact that the doctor is part of a well run orgainization that makes getting an appointment easy and run in a manner that you get in to see the doctor winthin a reasonable wait from your appointment time. Good doctor, good supporting staff, well run.

    Review and revise your stupid checkin forms on the iPad. These ask the same questions two or three times (e.g. 'Do you often feel depressed.') on the endless number of forms that are REQUIRED BY YOU in order to receive treatment. They are an insult to intelligence and a waste of time. I complained to the checkin nurse who said, 'Yes, I'm sorry. A lot of people have told me that these forms are very repetitive.' So you know about it. Then do something about it!

    We love our doctor and all the staff. And in that respect, we would without a doubt, highly recommend. But the wait is terrible. Over an hour from appointment time. And that???s not just a one time happening. Don???t have an answer but it???s not that way at our other dr appointments.

    The exemplary customer service at the Practice is consistently outstanding. From the moment of arrival to departure, you are treated with royalty-like care. Prompt responses to any queries come from the receptionist, Dr. Perry Carlos, his assistant Doreen, or upon departure. Despite a closer Practice, I choose to travel 30 minutes for the excellent service from Dr. Perry Carlos and his team.

    Everyone (and I mean everyone!) at Baptist Mandarin was so welcoming, respectful and kind. Not only to me, but to all of the patients. Maureen (Dr. Carlos' assistant) was so wonderful, too. My blood pressure usually rises due to "white coat" syndrome, but she is so calming, I got the same reading as I do at home. (Probably because she makes you feel right at home!!) And, of course, Dr. Carlos is THE BEST! Many doctors accidentally can make you feel like a number, but he is also kind and welcoming, and you can tell that he really cares about his patients. I have recommended Baptist Mandarin to many others already, and will continue to do so. Best Doctors Office in NE Florida!!

    The receptionists are courteous and professional. There is adequate signage to make one aware of what is expected of them. There is health information on the TV. Space can be limited at times but it is tolerable. The Physicians are great and trustworthy. They don't rush through your visit and you feel as if you are as important as anyone else. That's why I as a patient don't mind the wait (which isn't too long over your appointment time mostly). All in all it's a good experience for someone sick.

    We absolutely love this office from appointment scheduler, reception, MA, Dr. Carlos to payment staff. Marla, MA is so good at making sure that Dr. Carlos has all the information that he needs to get his assessment done. Dr. Carlos is an excellent example of how to make your visit more informed and answering about your health care needs.     Calm, quiet, efficient and the absolute best nurses providing the best services and care. And the amazing, incredible, kind, caring, huge hearted, uplifting, brilliant, creative, rational, logical, practical, realistic, ethical, generous, compassionate, passionate, understanding, a great listener, devoted, faithful and off the charts integrity Dr. Carlos. I changed to Mayo insurance 8 years ago. Dr. Carlos is not in the Mayo network. But I wouldn't change doctors no matter how much it cost. He's proven to be in a class by himself and I'm fortunate and blessed to be his patient. There are only 2 non family members in this world I trust. And they are my pastor and Dr. Carlos. There aren't enough words or accolades for what he does and who he is and he definitely can't be thanked enough for his dedication, commitment and incomparable praiseworthy service to me and all of the patients he cares for every day!

    I had an appointment at 3 pm. I came 2.40 and finished paperwork???s before came to office, but it took 1 hour and 40 minutes to get in the doctor???s room. If I need to stay too longer why did you give me appointment at 3 pm. Ask me to come at 4 or 4.30 so I???ll be there and not keep your lobby crowded. Please fix this issue. I like your doctors and all coworkers but this timing problem keeps us locked in the lobby too long. I am looking for new office doesn???t hold us this much longer.

    People care about you as an individual. You???re not just one of the ???bunch.??? The receptionist are very helpful both on the phone and in person the insurance is already always taken care of. But most of all the doctors are very caring and if they have to spend more than their allotted time with you, they do it. They are very thorough and I???ve been a member of this practice for 42 years and 85. I???m a very healthy person. If they find some thing wrong, they immediately send you to the appropriate people to have it taken care of if they cannot take care of themselves . And during Covid they were very careful about having non-Covid and Covid patients separated, and their office is always clean and comfortable and not all jammed together. I couldn???t be happier with the Care I???ve had for the last 42 years.

    It would have been nice to complete my necessary paperwork online, instead of waiting 45 minutes after my appointment time to see a doctor. In addition, I was only back with a doctor for 10 minutes because my concerns did not seem too important. My immediate concern was to have bloodwork done, but by the time I was seen by a doctor, the lab downstairs had closed. Why was my appointment time even available if timing was not going to be in my favor? Overall, just disappointed with this location which is a bummer because I enjoy the staff.

    The staff is very professional and answers questions thoroughly. When I call to make my annual medicare appointment, the scheduling is done efficiently. Maureen, Dr. Carlos' nurse, checked my records thoroughly and realized that I had not received my 2nd pneumonia vaccine. I then received this vaccine. Dr. Carlos also is very thorough in checking about my health issues. I appreciate their thoroughness. Having the lab on the first floor is very convenient, and the lab results were quickly entered into my portal where I could read the results.

    I love having Dr Carlos as my Dr and I have always liked his nurse/NP assts as well as anyone else I???ve seen when he wasn???t available. I really appreciate that I can talk w a nurse over the phone about any issue I have a question about as well as being able to do virtual dr visits over the phone. When I???ve asked Dr Carlos for referrals to an oral surgeon or other specialists, I love the other Doctors he???s referred me to.

    Everyone in this Mandarin office - from check-in to docs/nurses to check-out - is top-notch at their job, is caring, is patient, is professional. The facilities are probably in need of fresh paint and new chairs, but the people who treat us are the most important part of a medical office, and they are the best.

    Dr Carlos is one of the best doctors I have had the pleasure of meeting and being treated. I am from Jacksonville originally and left for a while, then return. The reason I am telling you this, I was working at the White House in Washington D C from 1972 thru 1977 and when I had to go to the Doctor, I went to Walter Reed hospital. Where we were able to use the President???s staff of physicians and I truly believe Dr Carlos, ranks with the President???s staff to take care of his patient???s and the desire to get his patients well and keep them that way. My wife and I really enjoy seeing him on our yearly physical.

    Dr. Carlos went above and beyond in looking out for my welfare. I merely had a telephone consult with him but he arranged for a CAT scan that afternoon and got the results back only an hour after the CAT scan. This is important because I was approaching renal failure and needed immediate medical attention. He may have saved my life or at a minimum prevented permanent kidney damage. How he knew to do that when I didn???t realize I was seriously ill was and is amazing to me. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Carlos
