About Me

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Soothing my adventurous spirit, I spent the past 20 years in Denver, Colorado, getting married and raising my own family. In July 2025, my husband, two daughters and I decided to trade the mountains and snow for palm trees and beaches by moving to Ponte Vedra, Florida. We are looking forward to spending lots of time at the beach and reconnecting with our family and friends in the Southeast. In my free time, I enjoy reading, walking, gardening, yoga, puzzles and playing board games with my family.

My philosophy of care aims to treat every single patient the way that I hope one of my family members would be treated if they were seeking care. I recognize that it is natural to feel ambivalent about entering therapy and/or changing a behavior or mindset. In considering this, I try to meet my patients where they are at in terms of motivation with unconditional acceptance, warmth, compassion, and curiosity. I like to create a strong therapeutic relationship, focus on my client’s strengths, and utilize them throughout treatment. I help by asking questions that help clients understand who they are and what challenges they are facing. My goal is to help my clients by empowering them to create and achieve the goals they want by learning how to use their strengths along the way.
