About Me

I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, but that does not keep me from exploring the world. My husband and I enjoy outdoor activities, cooking, and attending church, concerts and stand-up comedy shows. In my free time, you can find me in my garden, reading,or baking a new creation.

Since graduate school, I've been passionate about working with children and families. I believe families are the foundation of a strong community, and by supporting them, we are strengthening the community. I take pride in creating a space where individuals can show up as they are, and together we cultivate resilience, skills and hope for the future.

I am also passionate about giving back to my community through meaningful service. At my church, I volunteer on the hospitality team, helping both newcomers and longtime parishioners feel welcomed and supported. Additionally, I serve as the President of the Board of Directors for Healing Roots: Where Hope is Found. A local non-profit dedicated to serving and supporting mothers grieving the loss of a child to homicide.
