Dennis Chen, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement for patients ages 18 and older. He focuses on minimally invasive, muscle-sparing hip and knee replacement, using the latest technology and techniques to tailor the surgery and implants to each individual patient's unique anatomy. Dr. Chen’s passion is helping patients return to the activities they love as quickly and safely as possible. He continually refines his approach to optimize recovery, and as a result, most of his patients are able to go home the same day and recover with little to no need for narcotic pain medication. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Chen has an extensive research background, with numerous publications, book chapters, and national presentations.
