Everything from start to finish was exceptional! The ease of scheduling an appointment and understanding what would be involved was handled so professionally by the staff. The office environment was welcoming and serene and the room where the assessment tests were completed was very comfortable. Dr. Stefanie P. is extraordinarily personable and her demeanor set me at ease immediately. Honestly the entire evaluation felt like an easy flowing conversation between two friends learning more about each other. If you utilize the Baptist patient portal, notes and after visit summary are available within two days, think mine were available next day. Some great suggestions were made towards incorporation of more protein into my daily and future life style (one example already adopted is using protein shakes to flavor my coffee versus zero sugar coffee cream!)

I have been working on my Bariatrics surgery since April. Now I'm finding out the 4 visits 4 months in a row. We're in October. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm going to have the surgery. I have been told that everything looks good so I'm recommend for the surgery.

This can be a stressful process, and if you are someone who has never been to therapy, counseling, etc it can be more intimidating than you realize. Those worries were put to rest after speaking with the staff to schedule, through intake, and after visit follow-ups. There was a constant level of care and consideration throughout the entire process. The visit with my doctor went well and she did a wonderful job of keeping it more of a chat with a friend than a clinical conversation. Highly recommend this practice!!!

The counselor was down to earth and polite. She did not degrade or belittle if you were doing things wrong. Everyone I have met has been so helpful. When I met with people in the office for scheduled appointments, they could not have been nicer and it is a feeling of relief that I have some staff that I will be able to speak with after the surgery and they have also been very informative as I still have a couple appointments to complete prior to the surgery. The entire staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the morning of my appt, I got caught by the train. I quickly called the phone number I had received in my reminder email and a very nice, young man answered my call and was extremely understanding and said he could see the train stopped on the tracks from his window and that he would let the dr know. I arrived to my appointment 30 min late and thank God Dr.was still able to see me since it took quite some time to get that appt. The dr was extremely understanding and I felt good after my appt. The nice young man took me to room to complete my test and checked on me. Great dr and staff!
