Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Assistant Nurse Manager in our Women's OB unit at Baptist Medical Center - Beaches

This position is in our Labor and Delivery, Maternal Newborn unit at Baptist Medical Center Beaches Baptist Beaches is a Magnet™ designated hospital, the gold standard for excellence in patient care. We serve families throughout the area with high-quality, comprehensive care for every stage of life. This is a full-time dayshift position.

As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Providing nursing care patients on the Labor and Delivery unit
• Assessment and reassessment of unit function
• Acting as a liason for staff, physicians, and other departments
• Being a resource for staff members, mentoring growth and providing feedback
• Monitoring and adjusting shcedules in accordance with unit budget
• Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual erformance reviews

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 3-5 Years Charge Nurse Experience
• Management Experience

License and Certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
