Job Summary
Baptist South Overflow PCU 8D is hiring a Fulltime Day Assistant Nurse Manager on day shift, preferred previous Charge Nurse or ANM experience preferred.
Assists the Nurse Manager with unit/area operations• Works closely with the direct care staff during their shift to deliver quality patient care• Is an expert clinical resource• Facilitates the admission, transfer and discharge flow• Takes a lead role in implementing changes• Supports and coaches staff development• Makes shift to shift patient care assignments• Takes a direct patient care assignment as needed.
Education/Degree Required:
Associate of Science in Nursing Or
Diploma Nurse Or
Degree Preferred:
Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)
Experience:
- 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
- 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
- Hospital Experience
Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
