Certified Epic HIM Coding Analyst, Revenue Cycle Solutions, Day, Baptist Medical Center.

The Epic HIM Coding Analyst will handle day-to-day activities, including addressing incident tickets, processing new requests, troubleshooting issues, and managing Nova upgrades within Epic. They will attend meetings with operations or IT to review changes, updates, or new developments and assist with testing and reviewing Nova Notes. The role also involves working on projects and demand requests, as well as collaborating with user departments to anticipate and resolve problems. Additionally, they will develop and modify procedures to address data processing challenges and prepare detailed specifications for program development. The analyst will coordinate implementation, analysis, testing, maintenance, upgrades, application design, and debugging of complex workflows involving multiple modules. A deep understanding of the technical components across all modules will be utilized to maintain system stability and ensure overall system integrity.

As an Certified Epic HIM Coding Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, tests and maintains Rev Cycle EHR software applications.
• Interfaces with user departments to anticipate and resolve problems, develops and modifies procedures to solve data processing problems and prepares detailed specifications from which programs are written.
• Coordinates implementation, analysis and testing, maintenance and upgrades, application design, and debugging of complex workflows with multiple modules.
• Utilize deep understanding of the technical components of all modules to maintain system integrity. Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline.
• Works to broaden own capabilities by continuing to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
• Performs a range of assignments using guidelines or policies.
• Analyzes and solves straightforward problems as they occur but typically requires guidance on complex or unusual problems.
• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction from more experienced team members.
• Experience in SVC logic and metrics. Import/Export processes. Work queues and routing rules. Coding day to day processes. CDI query process highly preferred
• Experince with Billing indicators build and maintenance. Solventum and Iodine preferred
• Epic Coding Epic ROI, Epic Deficient tracking, and Epic Identity, Epic HB, Onbase/Hyland preferred
