As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, you will:
Provide treatment to Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab patients across Phases I–III
Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to guide individualized treatment plans
Design and implement exercise prescriptions and facilitate progression based on patient needs
Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including EKG monitoring and interpretation
Educate patients and families on risk factor management, heart-healthy lifestyles, and long-term wellness
Complete all required documentation, billing, and coordinate communication with physicians
Qualifications of a Clinical Exercise Physiologist:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field
Certification as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist through ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) strongly preferred
Prior experience in Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehabilitation highly desired
Current BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
Strong patient education, clinical assessment, and monitoring skills

- Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) - ACSM Required Or
