Job Summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Community Health I to join Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity.

The Community Health I provides coverage and education at community events and classes, helping promote health awareness and community engagement. This role supports educational initiatives and serves as a resource for patients, families, and community members.

Community Health Educator Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide coverage and education at community events and classes
  • Deliver health education and wellness information to community members
  • Support community outreach and engagement initiatives
  • Serve as a resource for educational programs and services
  • Assist with planning and coordinating community education activities

Community Health Educator Experience:

  • 1 year of Educator Experience (preferred)

Community Health Educator Education & Credential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
