Baptist Health is hiring a Director, Clinical Quality. This Director position will be the Director of Pediatric Clinical Quality for Wolfson Children’s Hospital along with the Director of Clinical Quality for Baptist Medical Center Nassau and the Director of Clinical Quality for Baptist Health’s five Free Standing Emergency Departments.

Baptist Medical Center Nassau ,with 62 licensed beds, is Florida’s only nationally ranked rural community hospital. It is a highly advanced, extremely well-equipped community hospital that provides a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services and 24-hour emergency care to coastal communities in northeast Florida and southern Georgia.
Baptist & Wolfson Free Stranding Emergency Departments with five convenient locations – North, Town Center, Oakleaf, Nassau Crossing and St. Augustine – provides pediatric and adult emergency care throughout northeast Florida.
The Director of Clinical Quality will demonstrate expertise in quality and performance improvement as well as program leadership operations. The Director of Clinical Quality requires a registered nurse license along with a master’s degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical nursing experience. Pediatric experience is recommended. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required or obtained within one year.
The Director of Quality Administration is expected to allocate their professional time as follows:

Responsibilities include:
- Operational oversight and strategic direction of one or more hospital-based clinical quality and performance improvement programs, ensuring alignment with the organizational mission and vision, providing leadership support and strategic goal setting, and strategically aligning quality and performance improvement resources to successfully achieve goals.
- Directs activities to remain in compliance with accreditation and regulatory bodies and supports campus accreditation activities.
- Provides ongoing assessment and development of relevant programs, policies, procedures, and forms.
- Works in collaboration with system and facility administration and clinical and operational leaders to develop and manage clinical quality and performance improvement programs that incorporate strategic plan elements that align with goals, objectives, and risk assessments.
- Develops and operationalizes the hospitals' annual Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement plans and evaluations. Identifies and implements updates to the quality and performance improvement program when new regulations or professional guidelines are published.
- Aligns with the National Association of Healthcare Quality's 8 domains for healthcare quality competency.
