Baptist Health is seeking to add an Emergency Department Technician to our Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center South located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, night-shift opportunity.

As an Emergency Department Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living.

  • Maintaining a safe environment.

  • Collecting lab specimens.

  • Intake and Output monitoring.

  • Electronic medical record documentation.

  • Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Education & Credential Requirements:

High School Diploma Required

Associate of Arts/Science Preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) RequiredLicensed EMT or CNA Required
