Emergency Department Technician, PRN, Baptist ED Oakleaf

Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Emergency Department Technician to add to our Emergency Department at Baptist Oakleaf. This is a PRN opportunity.

• Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living;
• Maintaining a safe environment;
• Collecting lab specimens;
• Intake and Output monitoring;
• Electronic medical record documentation;
• Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Active CNA or EMT licesne in the state of FL required.

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

• Less than 1 year Hospital Experience Required
• Less than 1 year Trasnport Medicine Setting Experience Required
• Less than 1 year Patient Care Experience Required

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Required Or
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant Required Or
