The Hospital at Home Business Operations Manager oversees the non-clinical functions of the Baptist Hospital at Home Command Center. This role is responsible for managing 10+ third-party contracts, including vendor relationships, credentialing, billing, logistics, and forecasting, while also supporting program expansion and resource planning. The manager ensures the command center operates effectively, partners with in-home service providers to confirm services are delivered accurately, and monitors workflows for efficiency. In addition, the manager works closely with leadership, quality teams, and data specialists to track program metrics and outcomes. A key responsibility is maintaining compliance, stewarding resources responsibly, and fostering strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners. Health at Home Contact Center Business Operations Manager - General Responsibilities:
- Manages daily operations of the Hospital at Home Command Center, including staffing, scheduling, and human resource management of assigned team members (HUC, logistics coordinators, quality specialists).
- Collaborates with in-home service providers to ensure services are delivered with quality and accuracy.
- Oversee vendor relationships and third-party contracts, ensuring compliance with credentialing, patient privacy, and organizational standards.
- Monitors and ensures invoicing aligns with services ordered.
- Reviews and optimizes workflows for operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership, quality teams, and data specialists to review outcomes and track program metrics.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and program growth planning to align with organizational needs.
- Act as liaison for internal stakeholders and external contractors, maintaining accountability to service-level expectations.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Baptist Health is opening an innovative Hospital at Home program that allows patients to complete their hospital stay at home. Patients that will be part of this program are provided with remote patient monitoring (RPM), technology kits, and communication devices. A 24-hour command center staffed by nurses monitors patients virtually, and contracted personnel provide in-home care when required. This program represents a transformational initiative in healthcare delivery—and we’re looking for a Business Operations Manager to help lead it.
