Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Lead CT Technologist to our CT Scan Department at Baptist Downtown located in Jacksonville, FL. This lead CT Technologist will be patient facing and plays a crucial role in the imaging department. This lead CT technologist is a key figure in ensuring that the imaging department on the 2nd shift runs smoothly and efficiently while delivering high quality care to patients. In order for this lead CT technologist to be successful that must be skilled in supervsion of day to day operations, technical expertise in CT scans, quality assurance, collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, providing excellent patient care and equipment maintenance. Additional responsbilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.
This lead CT technologist is a full-time position with a shift of Monday through Thursday, 10:00am - 8:30pm.
This Lead CT Technologist's duties will include:
- Responsible for quality and quantity of procedures performed in CT.
- Assists in staff training, performance and equipment evaluation, insures staff compliance with Employee Health and Mandatory Education requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining ACR Accreditation
- This is a working/patient facing leadership position.
