Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Primary Care Department at Baptist Primary Care Bartram Commons in Jacksonville, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.
This position is for Baptist Primary Care Bartram Commons. The experienced candidate will float between back and front office. The responsibilities will include, rooming patients, assisting provider, Check In/Out and answering phones. Experience in Primary Care is a plus. Candidate must initially be able to work in Nocatee.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Provides nursing assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience
- 2 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Preferred
