Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Medical Office Coordinator for the office located in Yulee! This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
The primary responsibility of the Medical Office Coordinator is to support the Office Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the physician's office and to provide assistance to physicians and coordinate business operations or clinical operations in conjunction with the physicians and the manager. This well established practice is located on the corner of State Road 200 and Amelia Concourse, close to Highway 17 and I 95. There are 4 providers in this office.
Additional responsibilities for Medical Office Coordinator may include:
- Processing medication refills
- Triaging patient calls
- Completing prior authorizations
- Chart preparation
- Coordination with Home Heath- updates, medical clarifications, triage
- Sending lab results
- Maintaining patient satisfaction
- Additional responsibilities may be required based upon office needs
