Job Summary
Baptist Medical CenterMental Health Therapist is hiring a to join our team. This is a 40 hour a week, daytime position working Monday - Friday in-person at our Jacksonville-Downtown location.
This position is with the Pediatric PHP/IOP program, serving adolescents aged 13-17 as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
As a Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:
· Conducting intake assessment, individual, group and family sessions.
· Identifying risk factors, screening criteria and interventions for patients with special precautions including suicide, self-injury and aggression.
· Diagnosing based on DSM criteria, developing treatment plans and providing clinically indicated, evidenced based treatment.
· Effectively developing and maintaining rapport with patients and families.
· Documenting treatment progress in keeping with Joint Commission standards.
· Communicating with multi-disciplinary team and other providers to ensure collaborative care and service continuity.
** A valid Florida LCSW/LMHC/LMFT is required for this role, registered interns will not be considered**
