Baptist Health is looking for a (RN) Nurse Manager to join our Med/Surg at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. This opening is for a full-time day shift.

Baptist is seeking a Nurse Manager for our Med/Surg/Tele Unit. This opportunity is for Fulltime

• Responsible for managing team and all personnel on nursing unit.
• Creates an open environment that facilitates team development and employee retention.
• Manage unit capital and operating budgets, maintain productivity levels, and ensure staffing hours cover patient care needs.
• Coordinates and promotes Performance Improvement plans within the unit.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement in patient care and organizational processes while collaborating with interdisciplinary team.
• Assumes leadership role in identifying and correcting factors contributing to problematic outcomes.
• Continuously searches for ways to increase customer satisfaction.
• Monitors and takes action on service indicators

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 3-5 Years Nursing Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
