Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Nursing Assistant in our Med/Surg Unit at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL.. This is a PRN Days opportunity from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.The Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including:

• Patient activities of daily living
• Maintaining a safe environment for patients
• Collecting lab specimens
• Intake and output monitoring
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

None

Experience

• 1 year Clinical Patient Care Experience Preferred
• Monitor Technician Experience Preferred
• Health Unit Coordinator Experience Preferred
• Electronic Health Record Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
