Baptist Southbank is currently hiring for a Full-Time Days Patient Access Representative II to join our Speciality Contact Center Department at our Southbank Plaza location here in the Jacksonville, FL area.

Shift Details: Training will be a minimum of 2 weeks and will be 8am-4:30pmMonday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM -

The Patient Access Rep II will support the Specialty Contact Center. This position is in a call center environment. In this position they will be taking full ownership of the tasks related to this position and provides successful outcomes that will enhance the reputation of Baptist Health and ensures a first positive impression from a patient experience perspective.

As a Patient Access Rep II, you will be responsible for:

  • Telephonically schedules patients accurately and efficiently using the EPIC system.
  • Telephonically pre-registers patients by:
  • Verifying insurance coverages and providing estimates
  • Collecting copays/coinsurances/deductibles
  • Completing Medicare questionnaire
  • Consistently demonstrates Baptist core values when utilizing all forms of communication.
  • Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPPA guidelines.
  • Meets monthly metrics
  • Other duties as assigned

Education Required

Experience

  • 1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required
  • 1-2 years Insurance Experience Required
  • 1-2 years Healthcare Experience Required

License and Certification

  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) Preferred
