Job Summary

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Oncology team at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Fleming Island, FL.

  • Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
  • Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
  • Educate of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care.
  • Serve as patient advocate and responsible for assisting the Interventional Radiologists.
  • Provide optimum care utilizing the nursing process

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

  • 1-2 years Nursing Experience Required

License and Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) Preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
