Registered Nurse, Recovery Services, Full-Time, Days, Baptist Beaches

Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our dynamic perioperative team at Baptist Beaches. This role will float between PACU, Pre-Op, Discharge, and occasionally PACE. This is a full-time, days (0600-1830 or 0700-1930) position. This Registered Nurse position has a rotating Night and Weekend on-call requirement and will require a 40-minute call response time. This role qualifies for competitive differentials and additional call compensation.

As a Registered Nurse in our Recovery Services you will be reponsible for:

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case
• Assisting the primary RN with admission, discharge and transfers as needed
• Completing the admission assessment and skin check for all new admits
• Call is required for this role
• Candidate must be flexiable and expereinced in floating to PACE, Pre-OP, PACU, and Discharge

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 2-3 years Surgical Services Experience
• 2-3 years Critical Care Nursing Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Preferred Or
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred Or
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
