Job Summary

We are looking for an EP Clinical Nurse Coordinator to support the Electrophysiology/Cardiology department. This is a Full-Time Days position.

This employee will need to travel to other nearby locations based on the needs each day. There are 9 total EP Device Clinics. This team works very closely together and is very tight-knit with great camaraderie, working with the same 9 providers at all times. This candidate must be experienced with the implementation of cardiac devices.

The main responsibilities of the EP Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Cardiology will be to:

  • Coordinate the patient’s care to increase the efficiency and quality of care that is delivered to the patient.
  • Accomplish major responsibilities of the essential job duties and to extend the responsibilities beyond the episode of care to encompass care coordination with hospital collaboration.
  • Be the patient advocate and care for them in a highly supportive and personal manner and also will serve as a liaison to ensure that patients and families receive resources and services as needed.
  • Be a link between inpatient and outpatient care.

Experience

  • 1-2 years Cardiology Experience Preferred
  • 1-2 years Inpatient Experience Preferred

License and Certification

  • Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant Required
  • Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Required
