About Me

I was born in Gainesville and raised in Jacksonville. After graduating from nursing school, I spent several years working on a cardiac unit and then transferred to a psychiatry unit. I developed such a passion for helping those with mental health issues that I decided to go back to school to earn an advanced nursing degree in psychiatry

I’m a very empathetic person and a great listener who values the importance of building strong relationships with my patients and their families.

My favorite part of life is enjoying time with family. I have six children, four grandchildren, five parents, and three dogs. I love the outdoors, exercising, horseback riding, motorcycle riding, skiing, scuba diving, walks on the beach, playing in the snow, and good food.
