About Me
My husband and I recently moved to Jacksonville from the Washington, D.C. area. We enjoy exploring the outdoors, listening to music and cooking together.
My treatment approach involves working collaboratively with my patients and/or their parents to develop a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs and goals. I aim to understand presenting concerns, teach patients strategies to reduce the negative impact of these concerns in daily life, and build resilience to face future challenges. I value parents’ knowledge of their own children and often involve parents in the treatment process. I understand the important role that family, cultural and religious values play in both our understanding of and approach to treatment, so I look to balance evidence-based techniques with patient/family preferences and values.
