The Manager of Clinical Informatics Support leads a team responsible for optimizing and supporting Epic and other clinical information systems to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. This role oversees system implementation, workflow analysis, data integrity, and end-user support, ensuring that technology solutions align with clinical best practices and regulatory requirements. The manager serves as a liaison between clinical staff, IT, and leadership, driving continuous improvement, training initiatives, and innovation in clinical informatics.

As a Manager of Clinical Informatics Support, you will be responsible for:
- Provides on-site user support to all levels of direct patient care providers for the proper, effective, safe and efficient use of clinical information systems and equipment.
- Trouble-shoots issues and provides in-person re-training for users where appropriate.
- Log unresolved support issues to appropriate EMR Analyst teams and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Mentor and develops expertise in the use of clinical information systems among the direct care providers in order to improve patient care delivery. Responsible for on-site user assistance with system navigation, troubleshooting of clinical application software, and patient monitor issue.
- Collaborates with Multidisciplinary Directors and Medical Directors to plan, implement and evaluate effectiveness of systems and services.
- Promotes both internal and external customer service through the support of clinical systems and standards which reflect that goal.
- Provides leadership to properly use clinical information systems in a way that ensures quality patient care outcomes.
- Manages professional employees and/or supervisors. Has accountability for the performance and results of a team within own area of specialty. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
- Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and department plan; receives guidance from Director and VP of Clinical Informatics.
- Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and customers.
