Job Summary

The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and professional development initiatives for team members across the health system. This role focuses on transition to practice for new graduates and experienced nurses, fosters workplace learning through evidence-based strategies, and applies adult learning principles to meet the diverse needs of clinical teams. The position will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure continuous professional growth and improve patient care outcomes. Education Note: Master's degree in Nursing required within 24 months of hire. Certification Note: At least one Baptist Health approved certification is required for this role. NPD certification is highly encouraged within 3 years of hire.

  • Over 5 years Acute Care Nursing Experience Required
  • Medical Surgical Certification Preferred
  • NPD Certification Preferred
  • Experience with CNA Clinical Development, Experience with Adjunct Faculty Roles in Academia Settings, Simulation Experience Preferred

License and Certification

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
  • Nursing Professional Development - Board Certified (NPD-BC) Preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
