Revenue Cycle Business Analyst, Physician Billing Office, Baptist Metro Square

Job Summary

Baptist Health is currently seeking to add a Revenue Cycle Business Analyst to our Physician Billing team, located at our Metro Square campus in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday.

This unique Revenue Cycle Business Analyst role will act as a project manager and will primarily function to provide analysis, support, and consultation to the leadership of various components within the hospital's revenue cycle department. The analyst will collaborate with revenue cycle leadership to develop corrective action plans, recommend modifications to established practices and procedures, and support optimal productivity and efficiency within the revenue cycle areas of the hospital system. Additional responsibilities include the creation, facilitation, implementation, and evaluation of project plans for both ongoing operations and improvements in quality and productivity.

As a Revenue Cycle Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

• Provide analysis, support and consultation to the leadership of the various components of the revenue cycle.

• Provide analytical insight for all reporting specific to the revenue cycle area.

• Creation and maintenance of all departmental scorecards, dashboards and ad hoc reporting using a variety of source systems.

• Responsible for determining the root cause of revenue cycle problems, questionable variations, glitches, etc.

• They will, in collaboration with revenue cycle leadership develop corrective action plans as needed.

• Based on appropriate analysis, they will recommend modifications to established practices and procedures, or system functionality as needed in order to support optimal productivity and efficiency within the revenue cycle areas.

• The analyst will work with internal customers to ensure newly implemented workflows and procedures are hardwired and maintained in order to best achieve financial goals.

• Another of the many roles of this position is that of a project manager.

• They will create, facilitate, implement and evaluate project plans required for both ongoing operations and improvements in quality and productivity.

• 3-5 Years Healthcare Analysis Experience Preferred
• Less than 1 year Healthcare Finance Experience Preferred

License and Certification

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
