The Workday/UKG Technology Enablement & Training Specialist supports the execution of training, communication, adoption, and change management activities that enable successful implementation and optimization of enterprise technology initiatives, with a primary focus on Workday, UKG, and related workforce management systems. This role serves as a key liaison between Information Services, Human Resources, operational departments, enterprise users, and end users to promote effective utilization of technology solutions and business process improvements across the organization. The Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of training programs, creating learning materials, and assisting with organizational readiness efforts for system implementations, upgrades, optimizations, and process improvements. This includes helping assess training needs, facilitating instructor-led and virtual training sessions, developing eLearning content, maintaining training documentation, and supporting end users in effectively utilizing Workday, UKG, and other enterprise applications.

Working closely with project teams, application analysts, HR stakeholders, IT teams, operational leaders, enterprise users, and subject matter experts, this role helps identify training needs, change impacts, and adoption opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

The Specialist supports communication plans, stakeholder engagement activities, and adoption initiatives designed to increase awareness, readiness, and utilization of enterprise technologies and workflows. This position works under the guidance of senior team members and leadership while developing expertise in training delivery, technology adoption, and organizational change management practices. The Specialist contributes to continuous improvement efforts and supports initiatives that enhance employee engagement, learning effectiveness, and technology adoption across the enterprise.

As a Workday/UKG Technology Enablement & Training Specialist, you will be responsible to:

  • Support training, communication, and adoption activities for enterprise-wide business systems and technology initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for Workday, UKG, and other enterprise applications using instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning methods.
  • Partner with HR, IT, operational leaders, and enterprise users to support organizational readiness and technology adoption efforts.
  • Create, maintain, and update training materials, job aids, eLearning content, knowledge articles, and user documentation.
  • Support change management and communication activities related to system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and end-user support activities.
  • Monitor training participation, user feedback, and adoption metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain training repositories, SharePoint sites, and knowledge management resources.
  • Provide ongoing support to end users and stakeholders to promote successful utilization of enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with senior specialists, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of training and communication initiatives.

Experience:

  • Knowledge of Workday, UKG, HRIS, workforce management systems, or other enterprise applications preferred.
  • Experience developing or delivering training programs, instructional content, or user support materials preferred.
  • Experience utilizing learning management systems, eLearning platforms, and training development tools preferred.
  • Exposure to change management, user adoption, communications, or organizational readiness activities preferred.
  • Experience with SharePoint, document management, knowledge repositories, or collaboration platforms preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with HR, IT, operational leaders, and enterprise users.
  • Customer service mindset with a passion for learning, technology adoption, and employee development.
  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare operations, information technology, learning and development, or organizational change management preferred.

Education and Certifications:

High School Diploma required.
