The appointment and doctor were very good. I needed lab work for my annual physical, which is why I chose that location from my previous Baptist location. After the doctor visit I waited 45 minutes for blood work. At that point I had to reschedule as I had to go to work. I rescheduled for the next morning at 7:30. When I got there I had to wait another 40 minutes to get the blood drawn. It would have been much faster to just go to LabCorp for the lab work instead of waiting in the office. Very disappointed in that part of the visit. Two trips and over an hour waiting time for a simple blood draw.

It takes weeks to get information on test results. Latest example is - had X-ray on Monday to see if I have a hip fracture and it???s Thursday morning and I still don???t know. I???m nervous to do anything in case I have a hairline fracture. Don???t want to make it worse. Why don???t your doctors call patients with results?

Overall, everyone is very nice and caring. When I started to faint or something like that after having blood taken for bloodwork, several staff at the office helped me out and when I meet with my doctor, they are always very kind.

I scheduled my annual physical two months in advanve.. Was checked by PA and Dr then told to schedule another visit to have blood drawn. This second appointment was unnecessary. In the past blood draws was always done on the same visit. Why the change requiring a second trip since it is usually done on the same visit. Very wasteful of everyone's time!

The greeting Receptionist is rude and dismissive, not only of me, but of her peers. I can't imagine how elderly patients feel when a tablet is flung at them and they are dismissed to figure it out. The place sounds like it's a barnyard, people screaming across the room at each other. Move closer and use a normal voice level. Once taken back the area is messy. I felt like I was in a Minute Clinic trying to be a professional office when it grows up. The Doctor was pleasant enough. Good thing I don't need to come often, or I would find somewhere else to go.

Process to be admitted was quick and the staff was courteous and helpful. This was my 1st visit to establish as a new patient. The doctor and I spent a lot of time on my details and next steps, without rushing. The reception / waiting area is clearly outdated and would benefit with furniture more suitable for a medical facility.

Last week, I had an appointment at Baptist Primary for my primary care physician to remove a spot on my arm. At the appointment, the physician realized that his office was out of liquid nitrogen so he could not do the procedure. No problem, I was already scheduled to go back to my PCP today for my annual wellnes check. Today, I arrived early for my appointment as I was told I needed to be there early to complete check-in. I arrived about 9:30 AM, but had been told to be there at 9:45 AMj. My appointment was at 10:00 AM. It was not until after 10:30 that I was taken back to an exam room. No one came in and I saw no one. At 11:00 AM, I left. As I was leaving, I was told that I would be next. Except that my appointment was to begin an hour earlier. Being "next" told me nothing about how much longer the wait to see the doctor would be. I am unable to spend an entire morning to see the doctor for an appointment that would have taken just a few minutes. This is the second time this has happened this week with appointments with Baptist Health providers. The other was with the Jacksonville Sleep Center where an afternoon was wasted waiting to see my physician, but having to leave due to the unreasonable wait time. My Medicare Enrollment peiod is now. I am going to look to see if there are providers outside of the Baptist Health system who are capable of scheduling appointments so patients do not have to spend one-half day at the office for a 5 or 10 minute appointment. Baptist could make things right by reaching out to reschedule, but on days when the wait times are not over an hour. (Note: The wait times for me were over ah hour from the appointment times, but I arrived early for each appointment as I was instructed to be there for each appointment at least 15 minutes early. So my wait times were actually well over an hour.)

Office visit was on time as scheduled. Was greeted with a friendly atmosphere. Dr Cleland???s nurse was just perfect and open to my questions. While Dr. Cleland is a relatively new doctor for me I felt confident with his analysis of my issues. I am pleased to have established Dr Cleland as my endocrinologist.

My (annual) exam seemed pretty cursory. Two spots need a biopsy, but couldn't be done at the time, and another visit was scheduled for some time in late July. The doctor only wrote up a PSA test,and the nurse had to call him to OK the full blood and urine testing, which in years past was always part of the appt.

I arrived 10 minutes early for an appointment with my General Practitioner. One hour and ten minutes later I was admitted to the examination room. Another patient was irate because he had been waiting nearly two hours. In the Gainesville, SHANDS System I never waited more than 15 minutes to see my GP or even the specialists I was referred to. Book fewer patients and get it together.

Dr. Le Croix spent a lot of time with me and asked very good questions. It was my first visit with him. The front counter personnel were very professional, as was the nurse who brought me into my examination room. My only complaint would be that I didn???t see Dr. Le Croix until very close until 1 hour after my scheduled time. Patient wait time needs significant improvement. I waited in an examine room 2 times in one week for over an hour to be seen by my doctor. No staff ever came in to speak about the long delay. Patients deserve respect and our time is as valuable as physicians. The long wait time at BPC/Reedy Branch is not new....it has been an ongoing problem for years.

My current primary care physician, Dr. La Croix, spent more time talking about current events than about the pain and issues I was dealing with during the appointment. While he was using his stethoscope to checking my heart and lungs, he was talking during the process. How can he accurately listen to my heart and lungs while speaking?! Also, the doctor was trying to leave the room when I still was trying to ask a question and understand the diagnosis and treatment he was giving me. A few days later, I had a question about the prescriptions he prescribed and my symptoms still going on, and I never received a call back after multiple attempts to contact him and leave a message. I was told by office staff that I need to schedule another appointment with him, even though it was within a week's time and still dealing from the same issues I came in for from before. It does NOT feel like he cares about me, and just wants me to come in for another appointment to get more of my and my insurance money. So very frustrated and discouraged. I will not be returning to that doctor. I wish doctors would do more listening and understanding of their patients, than talking to them.

My first office (routine) visit in months was confirmed by voice mail (Please arrive 15 minutes before..."), and then, the day before my date, I got an email going on about my "Virtual" appt.! We are not set up for that, so I called and got an in person visit. Two weeks out. I spent the usual 15-20 minutes past my scheduled time in the waiting room and then went in wiith the nurse. My BP and temp. were checked and then I waited for another 30 minutes for the doctor to come in. I was able to hear him talking to others (presumably nurses and patients) outside my room, and when he finally came in I received what was in my experience a pretty cursory exam. For example I have had numerous pre-cancer spots frozen and at least one excised but I never even had my shirt off this time. A glance in my ears and a stethoscope on my back took all of 30 seconds combined. An instant diagnosis of osteoarthritis re my hand pain (X-ray ordered and done). I did get some blood drawn, and that was done very professionally. I did have a med prescribed and when I went to pick it up, lo and behold, I got refills for Lisinopril and Atorvastatin which I also got back on December 14th. At least they are zero copay.

I arrived for my 8:30am appointment at 8:17am (the receptionist told me to arrive 15 minutes prior). The waiting room was packed with people. No social distancing was being observed and my temperature was NEVER taken. I did not get called back to see the doctor until 10:00am! This is very frustrating. Dr. Lacroix is a great doctor but his scheduling is awful! Always long wait times!! Rachel his nurse is fabulous and so caring and understanding. Not a great experience this time. I have been a long time patient and I especially would have thought there would have been more protocols in place for covid. I had an appt earlier in the week next door at north FL ob/gyn. Totally different experience. They had chairs roped off and my temperature was immediately taken. In your office it was packed with people which made me feel very uncomfortable. You can do better!

For the past two years I've had increasing issues getting my prescriptions right. The pharmacy says its not their fault and the doctor's office says its not them. But I believe after tracking it for a couple years most of it is the doctor's office, although twice I am pretty sure it was CVS. Also, I am most unhappy that my doctor is prescribing new meds for me without discussing it first. This has happened four times just this year (2020). The final and most serious issue for me was when I went in for my annual wellness exam in May and my doctor wasn't wearing a mask. He complained about his wife watching tooo much virus news on TV, the Baptist board wasn't interested in anything but the virus, and he actually said the whole thing was mostly a hoax because only 30-something (I really don't remember the actual number he said) of people had died. I was shocked. He was wearing a mask when I went in in September.

Receptionist and front office staff not knowledgeable and rude . They don’t know basic information about how insurance works And they didn’t attempt to find out the correct information . Billing department central office provided a horrible customer experience . First, they charged me a bill incorrectly ( they don’t know how insurance works) . Then, they threatened to send to collections while I made several attempts to correct the bill. In the end, after a lot of my time emailing them and calling , they agreed that they billed incorrectly. The only reason I still visit the practice is because Dr Lacroix is a great , compassionate doctor . I wish he had better staff around him.
