About Me

My father died at a young age from emphysema. From his death, I learned of the need for preventive medicine and the impact of chronic disease on the patient and the family.

I served for 10 years in the Navy, including about five years abroad in Italy and Scotland. Seeing a variety of patients and conditions during this time helped me understand the importance of primary care. Today, I continue to learn more about diabetes and artery disease in order to better serve my patients.

I've been married for more than 30 years, and my wife and I have three children, three dogs and two cats. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, running and swimming.
