About Me

Jacksonville is my home. I was born and raised here and returned for a family medicine residency after medical school at Nova Southeastern University, studying in both Ft. Lauderdale and Clearwater. I knew I wanted to return home to Jacksonville not only to be close to family but to give back and have a positive impact on the community in which I was raised.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family first and foremost. My husband and I love the water and enjoy boating and fishing. We are huge animal lovers and have two Labrador retrievers who love the water even more than we do!

I deeply believe in the power of holistic care and fully recognize the importance of addressing the mind, body, and spirit with regard to overall health and well-being. I truly enjoy building rapport with my patients and cherish the gift of life-long patient-physician relationships that family medicine uniquely offers. I feel that the most valuable part of my job is patient education to facilitate shared decision-making and empower my patients to make well-informed choices for themselves and their families and to take charge and play an active role in their health!
