Baptist Regency Office is convenient, and well maintained; and well staffed. Normally, the wait is not too long. Recently I had to call for a walk-in appointment, and the customer care specialist was able to work me in within a few days. I was so appreciative as I really needed to be seen by my primary care specialist rather than having to spend long hours in the emergency room. Thanks again Dr. Portalatin, and the family care staff.

If Dr Portalatin ever retires I will have to check myself into a mental hospital as I will loose my mind. That man is what a Dr should be. He acts like you are his only patient and genuinely cares about his patients well being. He is surrounded by an amazing team. Everyone at Baptist Health puts the Patient first in Patient care!

The staff in Baptist Primary at Regency is courteous, cheerful and helpful. Dr. Portalatin is my doctor and he is wonderful. He is supportive, patient and answers all my questions. I have recently moved to Fleet Landing and could easily transfer my medical care to the Baptist Health doctor there who is also very nice. I had a Pre-op appointment with Dr. Portalatin on Monday 24th and needed the results and forms requested by the surgeon by the 28th including my chest X-rays, His nurse so efficiently by the end of the date had provided the necessary information to the surgeon and the hospital. The hospital Flagler Hospital call me and make reference of the efficiency of Dr. Portalatin and his new nurse assistant in providing the necessary results of the tests required before my surgery on the 28th. Being able to get appointments in a more timely manner. Also getting messages sent directly to physicians box ACTUALLY to them! This is not happening and very frustrating. When I call for appointment I don???t expect to be told it???s 6 weeks away BEFORE I can get in! Maybe you need a larger group of physicians at that practice than you have.

I *LOVE* Dr. Portalatin! I would wait just about any amount of time to see him. He answers questions, doesnt rush you out of the office and he is the best PCP i have ever had in my 60 year old life! The staff is terrific, appointments are easy to get, sometimes there can be a wait but you know when you are seen, you will get the same time together that you need with the doctor.

Dr P has been my Dr for over 20 years and I just love him. My husband and just recently, my 18 ur old son are also Dr P???s patients. Marie and the ladies in front office are amazing and really care to assist you with whatever you need and Patty in scheduling is always so helpful. It???s like family there.

Very easy to walk in and get helped (with an appt.) I've never had any issue with a long line etc... Normally everyone is very nice and attentive. Always try to accommodate scheduling issues. The only thing I miss is the pharmacy that use to be in the same office. That was so nice!!

Direct contact with my PCP. I can read whatever the Drs are thinking whether it's good or bad. I like the fact that they are all connected with each other. So they all know what the other thinks about what is going on with me. I can leave messages for any of my Drs and they receive my message in a very short period of time. And vice-versa. I always have contact with the Drs.

Cleanliness and the apparent culture of all staff and doctors. They are all caring and treat you like a patient and not a inconvenience regardless of how busy they are. I have been coming to this office for many years to see my primary care physician. I have always been treated in a very professional yet friendly manner. Many of the staff know me by name, but even the newer ones are above expectation in their dealings with the patients. They are also excellent in doing the follow up on any procedures that my PCP requests.

I get the exceptional medical care I desire during my interaction with Dr. Portalatin. I can’t say enough about a physician who seems to care more about his patients than the insurance company dictating the guidelines and restrictions our country’s doctors are pressured to adhere to.
