I have been going to Dr Platte several years. However, as I have aged, I have found Dr Platte does not seem to be able to relate to me and the issues related to older women. While I understand she is much younger, I would think as a physician she would have better understanding of the challenges facing women in their senior years. Instead of offering encouragement and acknowledging progress, she is critical. I understand she didn???t agree with an action I was taking for weight loss so I asked her for another option and she indicated I couldn???t afford it and wouldn???t discuss any options. I really felt like she didn???t want me as a patient any longer due to she did nothing to address my concerns not only the weight issue but other concerns I discussed with her. I feel at this time it is in my best interest to change physician.

Everyone is friendly, accommodating, and concerned for our needs when my husband & I arrive at Baptist Prmary Care for our appointments. Both Dr. Ernst & Dr Platte take time to listen to our concerns and respond to each need. They are both detailed and offer solutions that fit our needs. Furthermore they take time to addresseach issue until we're both satisfied and confident every issue and concern has been addressed at each appointment. This type of experience is valuable and rare to find. We've both been patients at BAPTIST PRIMARY CARE for over ten years, and and will make certain we remain there throughout our senior years. It has indeed been a wonderful & warm experience all-around. As far as we are both concerned, we will never go anywhere else.

I have been a patient at this office for 10 years. The staff is friendly, efficient and timely with any issues or appointments. If I ever have an issue and call for assistance they respond quickly and if I need to be seen, they almost always make an appointment to be seen immediately. Recently they changed locations and moved into a new facility. It is lovely and has much more space than their previous offices. It is also much closer to my home, which is another plus for my family.

I didn???t get a very thorough exam. It was my yearly physical and all she did was listen to my heart and lungs and check my breast. In the past the doctor has checked my ears, nose, throat, reflexes and stomach. I have hypothyroidism and my former doctor would also feel my thyroid. She did make some recommendations for my arthritis that my former doctor had not and I appreciated that.

Baptist Primary Care-World Golf Village is an excellent clinic for family medicine. My wife and I have been patients there for over 5 years and have never had a negative experience. Dr. Platte is great. However, I called the office several times to change my appointment and got voicemail every time (4 or 5 attempts over several days). I leave messages but never received a call back. I re-arranged my schedule to keep my original appointment but disappointed that if you do not have the staff to answer calls, at least return voicemails. Otherwise, what is the sense of leaving messages, or even have a voicemail set up to begin with? Also, I do not understand why I am asked to put on a stupid face mask when I see several employees walking around the office with no mask on themselves. Practice what you preach, or better yet, do away with requiring stupid ineffective facemasks and make it optional if your patients choose to wear them, but do not make them.

The office is in relatively close proximity to my residence. The staff here have always been very polite, responsive and accommodating. In addition, Dr Platte has been my primary Dr for quite some time, and I am very comfortable with her thoroughness, and attentiveness.

The staff were very nice. Working in a medical office, I know how tough it can be to get things right for every patient. I feel they showed excellent care; I was scheduled fast and had excellent care. My labs were drawn quickly and results back next day. Good job guys!

The front desk is not helpful and it's clear that they don't like their job. I was told that the doctors no longer see sick patients due to covid. I have had to repeatedly take my daughter to urgent care because she has been sick quite a bit. What's the point of having a doctor who won't see their sick patients? I'm ready to leave the practice but my daughter will be going to college next year so I'm just hanging in there.

My last appointment (3/29/2021) was the rudest i have ever been treated at a doctor appointment. I walked in (5 minutes early) at 10:55 for my 11:00 appointment and signed in. I checked the box re: new insurance, took my new insurance card out & sat down. There was one other person in the waiting room. No one ever greeted me or asked for my new insurance card. (Your receptionist never even opened her sliding window, she just slid the sign in form under the window). In my opinion this is extremely rude! The receptionist is one of the most important people on the staff as she sets the tone from the minute a patient walks through the door.. At 11;15 I walked up to the window and knocked on the sliding window to which she opened it and said "yes?" as though I was interrupting her conversation she was having with another woman. "Would you like to make a copy of my new insurance card?" This rude woman never said a word and just stuck her hand out. I handed her the card. At 11:30 I went back to the window and asked how much longer. At 11:35 I was taken back by the assistant and told there was a mixup and Dr. Platt would need to see me. I agreed that it was fine and she came in at 11;40. She had reviewed my chart so it was a little awkward. The rude, unorganized, snobby attitudes of the front office staff really makes it hard to recommend this office. Just being honest!
