The staff treat you more like family than customer/patients only concerned with the bottom line of taking care of your health. That's reflected in their conversation and concern. However, they are extremely knowledgeable, prompt and compassionate. I recently was scheduled for back surgery and in extreme pain and limited mobility and Dr. Arsenas was on vacation but he still responded to my email requests and His colleague Dr. Dickinson who was covering personally called me and addressed my needs with true compassion and concern even though we had never met. Thank you all very much.

I know my doctor is taking care of the situation that occurred while he was away. The office staff needs education about how to handle patients when an on-call doctor must take over. They need education about efficacious and caring phone repoire. They need to know how to point the patient to the correct provider or care clinic.

My last appointment was at 11:15 am and I sat in the exam room for 45 minutes before the doctor arrived. I also arrive 15 minutes early, as stated, so the total time in the office was 1 hour and 15 minutes from the time of arrival until I departed at 12:15 pm. Total time with the doctor was a little less than 15 minutes. If the doctor is going to be detained, the staff should inform the patient that there will be a delay and not let you sit and fume over being ignored in the exam room!

I was issued a prescription that was denied by the Ins, Provider. The Pharmacy sent a fax to BH. It was not reviewed and handled by BH. I had to call BH to see what happened. I was shuffled. I was told I would be called. I was not. I called again, Same thing again.The 3rd time there was action. It has been 5 days and I still don't have my prescription in hand. Yesterday, a nurse called me and told me she ws working on it with the Ins. Provider and that I should have the prescription today. I keep getting notifications from the Pharmacy that there is an Insurance issue. So, I am not getting the course of treatment the doctor wants me to have.

When I see Dr Arcenas I feel like I'm an inconvenience that has to be tolerated, not a valued client. Recently he prescribed a non generic drug which cost almost 10 times what the generic cost and i even questioned whether the drug would have any effect. I will be changing Principle Care Providers. And oh, BTW I waited 75 minutes in the examining room before the Dr. came in. My time has value too!

Unless there is a serious issue, the tele-doctor is a waste of time, and probably gets charged to my insurance as a "visit." No weight, no vital signs taken, so other than talking with your physician whose attention is focused on his/her computer screen and not on the camera that i am facing, I see no useful purpose in continuing the practice. Does not offer me a peace of mind.

Sara, My MRI tech was great! Played music I enjoyed to make the experience much easier. She also called me ahead of time to let me know my appointment was running late so I didn’t have to wait two hours in waiting room.

We just transferred from Johns Hopkins in Baltimore and were worried about finding a comparable home here in Florida. We found Baptist South and could not be happier with the relationship we have developed over the last couple of years. The doctors at Johns Hopkins told us what to look for and we found it at Baptist South. Service is great and the relationships have been outstanding.
